Petition To Pave Miracle Valley

Update: Dec 17, 2025

A very good representation of the community on affected roads have already filled out the petition! The Board of Supervisors have received each and every submission directly to their clerk, as well as Supervisor Tom Crosby, who is responsible for the region. The clerk is distributing all the collective submissions to the full board.

They have determined to hold a work session in January, (rather than in December as initially expected by them). During the work session which will be scheduled in the future, the Board of Supervisors will discuss the early November town hall and recent public communication through petitions like ours, to determine which roads across the County should be prioritized for paving and County maintenance, in a future Board of Supervisors regular board meeting. At that later board meeting, the public will be allowed to speak up once again before the final vote on that date, likely in late January, or February.

We feel optimistic given how many of you have signed and Tom Crosby’s interest in supporting this. We encourage you to stay active in encouraging neighbors to continue having all adults in the residences who are in favor to sign the petition through this period of time, so our voices may be heard collectively. The vote will lock in the 2026 budget for County road maintenance to begin. We’ll keep you updated as we know more. Way to work together!

We all know the roads in Miracle Valley need help, especially during monsoon season! The Cochise County Board of Supervisors are considering paving nine (9) of our roads, but not without your voice! They’re asking for community petitions to decide which roads across the county to prioritize. If they don’t hear from us collectively, the roads will continue to deteriorate and they’ll prioritize elsewhere. This is a rare opportunity we must embrace!

Sign our community Petition to Pave Miracle Valley Roads now and we’ll send your submission directly to the Board of Supervisors. We’re better together!

Paving roads has been linked to increased safety, faster emergency response times, crime reduction, community morale and sometimes even increased property values.

Want more information? The County have identified the following roads which are already classed as County Maintained, which they’d like to consider paving.

  • Axe Head Drive
  • Guidance Way
  • Honeysuckle Drive
  • Joy Avenue
  • Kedron Drive
  • Rainbow Ranch Road
  • Rapid Way
  • Sandstone Drive

Cana Street is also being considered to be added to the County Maintained road list for future paving. This petition addressess these roads, as well as pointing out that the East portion of East Faith Ave has been overlooked and should be also included as County Maintained and to be paved.

The County have never considered paving these roads before, so it’s a huge opportunity to make a positive impact we’ll all benefit from! Rather than speaking up on your own behalf, we’ll be better together!
